a. Training school to Cultural and Sports leaders
The goal of this school is to train young leaders in order to bring them tools to develop their own communitarian projects. It is aimed to young people aged 18 (or more) and to other organizations of the area. Since the creation of the school, in 2000, until the moment, we’ve been trained more than 200 people from 20 civil society organizations (CSO). During the courses, the people analyzed the neighborhoods situation and they acquired skills to strengthen the CSO work.

b. Center of Integrative Education
This Center of formal education will look for the integration of kids out of the educational system. The creation of this project is very important to the area, considering the lack of educative offers in the area.  
For all the population of Paso del Rey we just have one kindergarten, and three public primary schools.
In this context, the new educative proposals became very important, particularly those which aren’t private neither public but a new one proposal called “communitarian management”; like the Defensores del Chaco proposal are. This kind of proposals look for the respect of diversity in every educational space through the inclusion and the creation of an innovative program to each student.
The pedagogic philosophy is agreed with our beliefs: sports and art are useful tools to promote the socialization of kids, and recovered the educational potential of play. 

c. Movement for the “Carta Popular”

Defensores del Chaco Foundation is a member of a Network which reunites organizations from all the region of San Miguel, Moreno, Jose C. Paz and Malvinas Argentinas, since 2003.
This network assumed the role of articulate their actions of training and communitarian communications, creating common spaces to analysis the reality ant d to create strategies to transform it.
Among the activities, the most relevant to mention are:

1. The popular consultation done to 700 families in order to know their needs and interests regarding their own neighborhood.
2. The creation of a newspaper, the “Posta Regional” and a radio with the same name in order to disseminate the point of view of the network members and the community problems.
3. The annual organization of a “Caravana Cultural de los Barrios”, a parade that travel across the departments of Norwest region. It’s a cultural and politic ceremony.

Public Campaigns to the Transportation Right and the Health Rights, and the creation of consensus building in some cases.

d. Exchange Travels

Every year, delegations of male and females from Defensores del Chaco visits any other organization in Argentina (or another country) with we have common work. The goal of these travels is to exchange experiences and to provide training to the participants. At the same time, travels have the function to integrate people in a learning process among them, because kids and adults from sports or artistic areas usually travel together and share many days the experience of discover a new world.
At the moment, we have traveled in many occasions with delegations of 40 people every time to Brazil, Paraguay, the cities of Mendoza, Calafate, San Carlos de Bariloche and La Pampa.
